Motorola is apparently working on a flagship smartphone with jaw-dropping specs for the first time since it competed with Apple and the iPhone back in 2009 with the DROID. The device, which will go by the names Motorola X30 Pro or Edge 30 Ultra, will be the first to feature Samsung’s new 200MP camera sensor, for instance.

Additionally, the tablet will have a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate. Due to its Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, the X30 Pro will have enough of power. As opposed to the previous Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, which was coming off the production line of Samsung Foundry using a 4nm manufacturing node, the latter chip will be manufactured by TSMC utilizing its 4nm process node.

The 200MP camera sensor is getting a lot of attention, as you might expect. The phone is anticipated to include 50MP and 20MP cameras in addition to the 200MP primary sensor. Thanks to a Motorola Weibo post, we were able to discover more about the phone’s cameras. The Weibo tweet reveals that Motorola will brand the smartphone the X30 Pro, at least in China, while the name Motorola Edge 30 Ultra may be used in other territories. This is important to note before talking about the focal lengths of the camera.
