The University Teachers Association of Ghana (UTAG) has threatened to go on strike again if the government fails to meet their demands.

Just before the end of the year 2021, the Union embarked on a two-week strike to express its displeasure with the government.

On the other hand, the government agreed to meet with UTAG and work out a solution to the problem.

UTAG has threatened to go on strike again, claiming that the administration is not adhering to the agreed-upon timelines.

The National Education Association has issued a statement about the strike and has set a strike date if the government does not meet the agreed-upon deadlines.
