WhatsApp now gives you a lot more time to delete unwanted, irrelevant or inappropriate messages.
If you’ve been using WhatsApp for a while, you’re probably aware of how useful the Delete Message feature is, unless you run out of time to delete an unwanted text. WhatsApp only allowed users one hour to delete old messages, and if that time limit was exceeded, users could only delete a message for themselves, rather than deleting it for everyone in a one-on-one or group chat.
That is changing now. WhatsApp is giving all users a little more than two days to delete messages. After more than a month of beta testing, WhatsApp announced the change in a recent tweet.
